From version 1.6.0 and below, ecomus previously implemented a form called built-in custom extends (using the is HTML attribute), but that feature was not supported in Safari. Therefore, an intermediary library was used to enable that feature to work on Safari. Unfortunately, in some recent updates, Safari made changes that broke that intermediary library, causing it to stop working. Considering that Safari might never support this feature and to avoid similar issues in the future when Safari updates, we decided to stop using built-in custom extends.
Merchants are kindly requested to update to version 1.6.1 to fix the issue on Safari.
